For me, origami is more about problem solving than folding. I have found that if I can distract my muscles, my brain can focus on more complex real world problems. Like a fidget spinner that makes people smile.
This is my outlet for processing life related things, not just origami.
Compliments will be accepted, polite criticism is encouraged, and negativity deleted. Thanks!

Origami in Silver basics

For those who want to know about how to make origami in fine silver (.999), I am glad you asked.

It does not involve folding sheets of metal like most people initially think. Mitsubishi developed precious metal clay (PMC) for just this purpose. PMC is made from recycled tech silver (about 90%) and mixed with organic binder & glycerin or water (about 10%). This clay can be used as any clay and is often made in into beads, pendants, and so on. For our purposes, PMC can also be made into sheets. PMC Sheet can be cut, folded, stamped, or almost anything you can do with a thin sheet of wet cardboard.

After you have finished your creation, you put it into a kiln at around 1600 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or longer. This burns out the binder and glycerin, leaving just fine silver (.999) This is softer than Sterling Silver (.925) but less likely to cause an allergic reaction. Now that you have an origami piece in silver, the next challenge is what to do with it...
